Configurator for Windows
A free app that reads the PC it runs on and tests it: what is inside, how fast it really is, and what is holding it back.
Download for Windows
Download for WindowsVersion 0.2.0 (beta), Windows 10 and 11, about 4 MB.
What it does
- FPS test: measures the frame rate you really get in a game and compares it with what your hardware should deliver. Nothing is injected into the game.
- My PC: every part in the computer, with live temperatures, loads and fan speeds. Add your power supply, case and cooler for the full picture.
- Bottleneck: whether the processor or the graphics card is holding the other back, per resolution.
- Diagnostics: is XMP or EXPO on, is the memory in the right slots, do the parts work together, and which background programs are using the PC.
- Sell this PC: start a listing with the parts already filled in.
- Build check: puts the processor, memory and graphics card under full load, watches the temperatures and stops by itself if a part gets too hot. Ends with a verdict and a graphics score.
- Lighting: finds the RGB parts in the PC and sets them all in one click, with ready looks and your own saved ones.
- Fans: fixed speeds or temperature curves for each fan, with Silent, Medium, Performance and Max presets.
- Drivers: shows devices with no working driver and installs what Microsoft's catalogue has for this PC.
- BIOS check: Resizable BAR, the graphics card's slot, Secure Boot, the memory profile and the BIOS version, each with a plain suggestion.
This is a beta
The installer is not signed yet, so Windows may warn that it does not recognise the publisher. Processor temperature needs the optional sensor driver, which the setup offers to install.
What it sends
Only the parts list: model names, capacities and memory speed, to match them with our catalogue. No serial numbers, no user or computer name, no files, and nothing is stored.
